Obsession

This is me super stoked after finding a $50 off $100 purchase coupon at OldNavyweekly.com. There was an $75 off $100 purchase coupon up for grabs that I barely missed! So this has kinda become an obsession for me. In order to get the really good coupons you must wait for the website to reload. This occurs once a week. The thing is you never know when that will happen. Well this week the people at Old Navy gave us a hint that it would happen some time on Sunday, so guess what I've been doing all day (and by all day I mean midnight to midnight)?! OK don't judge me I really need some new clothes for the summer as I'm not fitting into my pre-pregnancy clothes yet! Well if your interested, my obession with OldNavyweekly can pay off for you too...... 'cause I'm cool like that ; )

If you read this within the next hour or so there may be more $50 coupons left, just click on the boy's polo tee under "Fabulous Finds". Here are some other coupons available:

30% off $50 purchase - move the black and white scarf to the blond modelquin in the blk and white dress

20$ off $100 purchase - move the white flag tee to the top right hand corner of the lower box

15% off - Click on the flag

10% off - Move the black and white dress to the blond modelquin in the blk and white dress

Here's the deal, I kinda cheated and got TWO coupons (you're only allowed one per email address) but I will GIVE AWAY this coupon to anyone I know (no random strangers please), who comments in within the next 24 HOURS! This applys to my out-of-state friends too! Good luck and happy hunting!

Does this make my Butt Look Big?

Well now that our little "Deli-bean" is weighing in at 9 lbs I feel more comfortable putting her in cloth diapers. They still kind of engulf her little body but I think it's pretty darn cute! This particular type of diaper is an organic tie-back
nappie. It's super soft and great for naps and night-time.

Spring Fling

It's hot outside! So we decided to bring out the kiddie pool and let the kids splash around before the spring storms return.

All My Children

I feel like I've hit my stride with baby number three. These last three weeks have been wonderful and, despite the nay-sayers who predicted my doom upon having *gasp* THREE children, I'm doing quite well. Eden and Noah adore their little sister and I can't help but tear up when I see the three of them together. God is so good! He has been more than gracious as He has enabled me to take care of my kids without losing my mind! And yes, there are hard days and moments, but to be honest with you I wouldn't trade it for the world! I think I'm finally embracing my role as a mother. Thank you Jesus.

Spending Time with Family

My little brother Chris graduated from the University of Northern Illinois last weekend (woohoo I'm so proud of him)!  So my family took the opportunity to stop in Omaha on their way back to Colorado. Arriving on Mother's day my mom, dad, and youngest brother Chris met Adele for the first time. I think they're all in love! Now to get my brother Ced and his wife Kelly out here! Rumor has it they'll be here the weekend of the 4th : )

Adele Vivienne

A few people have asked how we pronounce our little girl's name so I thought I'd clear things up. Adele is pronounced (Uh-del) and Vivienne (Viv-ee-en), with the emphases on the last syllable. The name Adele means noble and I thought these verses were perfect examples of things to pray for in a daughter:

  • And now, my daughter, don't be afraid. I will do for you all you ask. All my fellow townsmen know that you are a woman of noble character. Ruth 3:11
  •
A wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones. Proverbs 12:4
  • A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Proverbs 31:10
  •
"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Proverbs 31:29
  •
But the noble [woman] makes noble plans, and by noble deeds [she] stands. Isaiah 32:8
  • But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop. Luke 8:15
  •
Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11
Vivian was my grandmother's name. She was a woman of God and I loved her dearly. My grandmother went to be with the Lord a little over three years ago and I thought it would be nice to honor her by using her name. Vivian means "life" or "to be alive", I thought that was just beautiful. Adele, our noble little girl who is full of life.
